Privacy Policy
Pulsar Innovations Inc. ("we") handles personal information collected through this website and in providing corporate training in line with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) and related guidelines.
1. Who we are
Pulsar Innovations Inc., 9F, B Building, Ariake Frontier Building, 3-7-26 Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo 135-0063, Japan. Representative: Lee Jean, CEO and Representative Director
2. What we collect
We collect the following personal information by lawful and fair means.
- Contact form: name, company, role, work email, number of managers, and the challenge you describe (including anything else you write in that field).
- Overview download form: name, work email and (optionally) company.
- Email: your email address, name and whatever you include in your message.
- Call booking: the name, email and time you enter on our Google Calendar booking page.
- Website use: this site does not set cookies. Our hosting provider may log IP addresses, browser type and access times. Our hosting provider is Netlify, Inc. (United States). We do not use analytics tools.
Please don't include information that identifies other people (for example, a team member) or sensitive information such as health details in the challenge field.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry
- To prepare proposals and quotes, arrange contracts and schedule sessions
- To send you the program overview
- To follow up after sending the overview
- To improve our services, using non-identifying analysis
- To meet legal obligations
We use personal information only within these purposes. If we change a purpose, the new purpose will stay reasonably related to the original one, and we will publish it on this site.
4. Sharing
We do not give your personal data to third parties without your consent, except:
- where required by law;
- where it is necessary to protect a person's life, body or property and it is difficult to get your consent;
- where we need to cooperate with a national or local government body (or someone acting for one) carrying out duties set by law, and asking for your consent would interfere with those duties; or
- in other cases permitted by APPI.
We may outsource tasks such as form handling, email and website hosting to service providers, as far as needed for the purposes above. We choose them carefully and supervise them appropriately.
5. Services outside Japan
Some services we use may process data outside Japan (for example, in the United States):
- Google: the call booking page, and Google Fonts (your browser sends your IP address to Google when loading fonts).
- Luma: the embedded events calendar and event registration, which are covered by Luma's own privacy policy.
- Form/email service and hosting provider: Netlify, Inc. (United States), which hosts this site and receives and stores form submissions through Netlify Forms
Some of these providers are based in the United States, and personal data may be processed on servers there. The United States has no comprehensive federal law equivalent to APPI; personal information is protected by state laws and sector-specific laws. Each provider takes security measures under its own privacy policy.
6. Security measures
To prevent leaks, loss or damage of personal data, we take the following measures:
- Organizational: we appoint a person responsible for handling personal data and check how it is handled.
- Human: we instruct everyone who handles personal data on how to handle it properly.
- Physical: we protect devices and documents containing personal data against theft and loss.
- Technical: we limit access to personal data to people who need it and work to prevent unauthorized access.
- Understanding the external environment: where personal data is handled through services located in a foreign country, we take security measures based on an understanding of that country's personal information protection system. (Main country: United States.)
7. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above and try to delete it without delay once it is no longer needed. Inquiries and overview requests are kept for two years after our last contact, then deleted.
8. Training participants
Information about participants gathered while delivering training (such as before/after skills-check results) is handled under our agreement with the client organization. Clients receive anonymized group results only.
9. Your rights
Under APPI you, or your authorized representative, may ask us to notify you of the purpose of use, to disclose your data (including records of third-party provision), or to correct, add to, delete, stop using, erase or stop sharing it. Please send requests by email to the contact point below. We will verify identity and respond without delay in line with the law. We verify identity, for example by replying to the email address you gave us. There is no fee.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page.
11. Contact point for questions, complaints and requests
